Why the name Sign Cat? Several years ago, our beloved pro football team, the Carolina Panthers, was in its heyday and brought some very exciting times. So, with this being a Big Cat and our owner’s college alma mater, The College of Charleston, also having a Big Cat (Go Cougs!) as its mascot, the name Big Cat Carolinas came to fruition. Recently, it was decided that the name should evolve into Sign Cat. Therefore, Sign Cat it is! We are thrilled at the wonderful feedback we are receiving regarding the new name and the new marketing materials.

In 2018, Sign Cat started its company by providing courteous service and outstanding production in the area of graphic design. The company grew by starting its own advertising publication, My Frugal Friend, which promoted local businesses and was delivered to nearly twenty thousand homes. After successfully publishing and distributing several seasonal editions, Sign Cat decided to end its publication and instead focus solely on its goal of providing signs to its customers. After a few years in the making, Sign Cat is building a great reputation as a reliable source of signs, sign poles/posts, and accessories for individuals, property owners, and businesses.
